First visit to Rayagada by 1st DRM Amitabh Singhal ,of Rayagada on January 11. He visited and reviewed the various developmental works of the Railway Department at Rayagada. Reviewed the new DRM office buildings of Rayagada Division to be constructed and other related works. At Rayagada Railway Station, Rayagada ,Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Station Advisory Committee members and journalists met and greeted DRM Operationalization of the new division as soon as possible is targeted, DRM said.
Rayagada public Submited demand letter regarding the development of infrastructures at the stations the Rayagada town ,Transport system and passenger facilities like escalator setup for passengers and for pilgrims convenience construction of Platforms near Maa Majhighariani temple, underpasses and over-bridges construction to connect both the side of the railway track of the town . And also visited koraput Rail station

DRM Singhal said that priority will be given to passenger safety, convenience and correct timing of trains in railway operations along with speeding up the work related to improvement of railway stations and railway infrastructure.

He said that he will look after the works of dubble line of Rayagada-Koraput Railway project and the improvement of stations and seek suitable suggestions from common people which will be accepted for the benefit and improvement of railway department and public.
Amitabh Singhal, the first DRM of Rayagada Railway Division, has gained recognition in the railway department as an experienced, skilled administrator and skilled engineer. He graduated in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from NIT, Trichi. He is a 1995 batch of Indian Railway Service.
After training, he started his career as Assistant Divisional Electrical Engineer in Electric Loco Seed Kalyan in July 1999.
Singhal has been instrumental in turning Prime Minister Modi’s dream of running Vande Bharat trains in India into a reality.He was instrumental in the design, manufacture, successful testing of the first prototype of the Vande Bharat Express train to enable safe operation.
He inspected the window trailer of the Koraput Railway sections and supervised the safety aspects. He asses the ongoing infrastructure development.
He reatreated that he will try the Rayagada Railway Division will be the best division for the comming years
