NEW DELHI FORGES CONSENSUS AFTER MARATHON 4 AM TALKS
NEW DELHI:(Pratiphalan media )Report by Bijendra Singh
India has delivered a major diplomatic breakthrough, successfully forging consensus among BRICS nations on the New Delhi Leaders’ Declaration after marathon negotiations that stretched into the early hours of the morning.
The hard-fought agreement calls for dialogue and diplomacy to end global conflicts, while BRICS nations agreed to “deplore” unprovoked aggression and unilateral military action—without singling out any country.
India’s diplomatic push bridged deep differences among member states, bringing even regional rivals, including Iran and the UAE, together on a common platform.
The declaration is set for formal adoption by BRICS leaders at the summit, while high-stakes bilateral diplomacy—including talks between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping—is expected to add further weight to the New Delhi gathering.
